Join Inquilinos Boricuas En Acción (IBA) for an educational workshop on the Taíno Earth Mother figure, Atabey. Participants will learn basic facts about Taíno culture and practice skills including painting and beadwork.
The Center Will Not Hold, created by Michelle Dorrance and Ephrat Asherie, features members of Dorrance Dance Company. Global Arts Live will share resources on how to advocate for funding the creative sector, and audience members will have the opportunity to write post cards to their legislators.
Each year in New Bedford, a vibrant and diverse gathering of artists, cultural organizations, heritage nonprofits, and creative enterprises comes together for a symbolic group photograph.
