MARCH 2023 POLICY & ADVOCACY WEBINAR
On Friday March 3, 2023 we kicked off our 2023 Policy and Action Update Webinar series. This series provides opportunities for advocates across the Commonwealth to hear updates on federal, state and local arts policy issues and receive action alerts from MASSCreative.
During this webinar, we introduced our two new Team MASSCreative members: Richeline Cadet, our director of organizing, and Kelsey Rode, our director of external relations. We reviewed some of the important work we accomplished together in the last legislative session, including increasing and sustaining public funding for cultural spaces, and advocating for $145 million in state funding for COVID-19 relief and recovery. We also shared more information about our policy priorities for the 2023-2024 legislative session and advocacy around the FY24 budget.
