The Advocacy & Organizing Fellowship is a twelve month advocacy leadership development program for moderately experienced artivists and community leaders. Selected fellows will spend one year receiving training, information, and networking from experienced organizers and leaders within the creative sector to become more effective local and statewide arts champions.
Applications for MASSCreative’s 2024-2025 Advocacy & Organizing Fellowship open on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 and close on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11:59 PM.
The ideal applicants are:
Passionate leaders with a desire to learn and commitment to advancing funding, policy, and equity across Massachusetts’ creative sector;
Have some experience with advocacy or activism but seek support with scaling sustainable movements;
Individuals who are members of the creative community: artists, creative workers, arts administrators, board members of cultural organizations, etc;
Have a clear desire to affect change within their creative community at the local, regional, or state levels.
